Daniels Gateway, the rental division of The Daniels Corporation, is actively searching for a Leasing Coordinator to join the team in Mississauga. Reporting to the Portfolio Director, the Leasing Coordinator will be the first point of contact with all of our clients, walking them through the leasing process and assisting with their smooth transition into their new home. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls and emails from potential clients inquiring about leasing opportunities
  • Booking appointments and calendar management for the leasing agents
  • Manage weekly/monthly/yearly traffic reports – liaise with agents to collect and maintain accurate data (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ensure website and online advertising is current with real-time information
  • Prepare and review legal contracts, internal forms and policy documents
  • Setting up new tenants in Yardi
  • Assisting tenants and property managers with utility set-up

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of experience in an Administrative Assistant role
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with an ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated ability in time management and managing multiple and conflicting priorities
  • Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency and able to work extra hours when needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Knowledge of office procedures and processes and highly skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Prior experience in leasing or residential property management is an asset
  • Knowledge of Yardi is an asset
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license as occasional travel within the Greater Toronto Area is required
