Awarded annually by Delta Management Group and Canada’s Clean50 organization to projects completed in Canada within the past two years. It recognizes Daniels as a leader in innovation, inspiring Canadians and contributing to environmental sustainability. This recognition strengthens our commitment and efforts in advancing low-carbon and net-zero housing solutions that set a new industry standard, while leaving a positive legacy for future generations.

Presented by the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) and this accolade is awarded to a member-company that has exhibited leadership in proactively reducing discrimination, prejudice or racism by facilitating awareness, education and open discussion. The intent of this award is to acknowledge organizations that have encouraged DEI in their business and woven it into the fabric of their daily activities, the communities they build and the industry overall.

Presented by the Toronto Community Benefits Network (TCBN), this award recognizes a construction industry employer that has excelled in supporting the professional growth and development of diverse workers in the workplace. Daniels was honoured with this award as an industry champion, leading in its efforts to increase the participation of Black, Indigenous and racialized workers, including youth, women and newcomers within the organization and in the real estate and construction industry more broadly. The award is given to a construction industry employer that has excelled in supporting the professional growth and development of mentees.

Four-time winner of the Ontario High-Rise Builder of the Year award presented by Tarion Warranty Corporation. The Homeowners’ Choice Awards (formerly the Tarion Awards of Excellence) are determined by a comprehensive survey of Ontario’s new home buyers. This award focuses exclusively on best customer service as decided by the buyers.

The Daniels Corporation has been recognized for our partnership with Artscape. Our successful relationship has enhanced the quality of life and enriched the cultural scene in our communities through innovative programs, creative business partnership and neighbourhood revitalization initiatives.

The Foundation’s annual awards celebrate the artists, cultural professionals, businesses and philanthropists who help the city’s vibrant civic life through significant and innovative contributions to its arts and culture scene.

Winner of the Toronto Urban Design Award for OneCole Condominiums, in the “Private Building in Context – Tall Residential” category. The first market residential condominium in the Regent Park Revitalization, OneCole was designed by Diamond and Schmitt Architects. This biannual event recognizes designers who create outstanding urban spaces.

Awarded in recognition for the Regent Park Revitalization. This diverse neighbourhood has been bringing together people of various backgrounds,  serving as a world-leading model for sustainability and community integration.

The “Green Design Award” for OneCole Condominiums in Regent Park was presented to Daniels at the Green Toronto Awards. These annual awards recognize the people, organizations and companies helping to lead the way by providing real alternatives and sustainable solutions for a cleaner, greener Toronto.

The Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) awarded Daniels top honours in the “Places to Grow Community of the Year High-Rise” category for the Regent Park revitalization. This award highlights the community development that is most reflective of Ontario’s Places to Grow legislation goals, which include building complete and strong communities that use land, resources and existing infrastructure efficiently; promoting a healthy environment and a culture of conservation; and sustaining a robust economy to help achieve a high quality of life across the province. 

Daniels’ NY Towers Community at Bayview and Sheppard Avenues was also awarded BILD’s “Community of the Year”. This award goes to the community that represents the best overall combination of aspects that enhance quality of life including environmental preservation, innovative site planning and architectural features, streetscape and street lighting, recreational amenities and open space. Daniels’ fifth tower in the neighbourhood, Empire, was also the inaugural recipient of the “Best Building Design” award.

Daniels was the first-ever recipient of the BILD’s “Home Builder of the Year” award. When you care enough to always do things right, people pay attention.

The Daniels Corporation was voted ‘Best Condo Developer’ in NOW Magazine’s 2013, 2015 and 2016 Readers’ Choice poll, proving once again our homeowners really do ‘Love where they live’.

Daniels received an EnerQuality Award of Excellence as “Green Home Builder of the Year” for our FirstHome™ Erin Mills community.

Daniels is a four-time winner of the Mississauga Urban Design Award of Excellence. In 2009, we received the “Award of Merit for Efficient Design” award for our Daniels FirstHome™ Eglinton West community. Previously, we won for No. 1 City Centre, The Capital Condominiums and One Park Tower. This annual competition celebrates projects that best exemplify Mississauga’s design principles and ongoing work to promote excellence in urban design. The criteria range from how significant the building is on the skyline, to its innovation, ability to influence trends, enhancement of the area’s character, construction and design quality.

More recently, Daniels FirstHome™ Hazelton Place received the “Healthy by Design” award at the 2014 Mississauga Urban Design Awards. This community was particularly recognized for having great connectivity between buildings with community gardens and children’s play areas that promote social interaction. In addition, it has been recognized as a progressive model that can be used to influence similar developments.

Daniels was named the “Ernest Assaly Ontario Builder of the Year” in the High-Rise Category by Tarion Warranty Corporation (then the Ontario New Home Warranty Program). This pinnacle award recognizes exceptional customer service and excellence in the new home building industry and involves the meeting of stringent criteria including site inspections and in-depth interviews with the builders and municipal building officials. Participants are evaluated through random homeowner surveys and independent interviews to determine customer satisfaction.

Cinema Tower was awarded 6 distinctions including the pinnacle Community of the Year – Urban. Presented by the National Home Builders Association, The Nationals SM pays tribute to superior sales and marketing achievements. The Community of the Year distinction recognizes the project as a whole, from branding to marketing to sales and overall interior and exterior design. Film-inspired Cinema Tower was also named the Gold winner in the following categories: Overall Ad Campaign, Social Marketing, Computer Generated Sales Tool – Virtual Reality, Community Branding, and Brochure – Book.

Daniels received three National SAM awards from the Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA): “Marketing Excellence,” “Best Sales Office” and “Best Project Signage and Logo” – all for Arc Condominiums at Bayview Village. The Marketing Excellence Award is presented to the CHBA builder member whose single project combines the best overall aspects of professional marketing, advertising, promotion, site-merchandising and sales presentation.
