On May 10, 2022, The Daniels Corporation (Daniels) was recognized for its continued commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in the construction industry with the NexGen Builders Champion Employer Award at the Toronto Community Benefits Network’s (TCBN) 2022 Building Diversity Awards.
Daniels was honoured with this award as an industry champion, leading in its efforts to increase the participation of Black, Indigenous and racialized workers, including youth, women and newcomers within the organization and in the real estate and construction industry more broadly. The award is given to a construction industry employer that has excelled in supporting the professional growth and development of mentees.
