Martin Blake is a Partner at The Daniels Corporation, where he has been at the forefront of inclusive city-building for 30 years. Known for his ability to unite public, private, and non-profit sectors, Martin has been instrumental in advancing some of the GTA’s most significant affordable housing and mixed-use developments.

As the senior executive overseeing the first three phases of the Regent Park revitalization, Martin helped redefine how public-private partnerships can deliver social, cultural, and economic value. His leadership ensured the seamless integration of affordable and market housing with critical community infrastructure, most notably the creation of Daniels Spectrum, a celebrated cultural hub.

Martin’s portfolio also includes groundbreaking work in Mississauga’s downtown core, Peel Region, and Toronto’s east end, where he’s pioneered new delivery models for affordable housing. From multi-party negotiations to innovative financing mechanisms, he consistently pushes boundaries to make housing more accessible and communities more equitable.

In addition to his professional work, Martin has made a lasting impact through volunteer leadership. He served as Chair of Habitat for Humanity GTA and has held board positions with organizations such as WoodGreen Foundation and the Regent Park School of Music.

Martin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Carleton University and a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from Loyalist College.
