Vice President, Development
We Love What We Do We Love What We Do.

Elizabeth Gillin is the Vice President of Development at The Daniels Corporation, where she brings over 18 years of expertise in urban planning and land development. She plays a key role in advancing  projects through complex entitlement processes, from early site due diligence to construction and occupancy. Working closely with municipal partners, consultants, and internal teams, Elizabeth develops and executes strategies that drive successful, community-focused developments.

Since joining Daniels in 2017, Elizabeth has been instrumental in shaping impactful projects, including the MPV community in Brampton—Daniels’ first low-carbon community—and Daniels Waterfront on Toronto’s waterfront. She also leads the entitlements process for major mixed-use projects, Condominiums at Square One District, in partnership with Oxford and AimCo.

Prior to Daniels, Elizabeth spent over a decade in consulting, where she worked on municipal policy, master planning, and large-scale development approvals, including transit infrastructure and high-rise residential projects across the GTA. Her expertise in planning legislation, stakeholder engagement, and project management has been invaluable in delivering successful developments.

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Community Design from Dalhousie University and a Master of Science in Planning from University College London. She is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP), a Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners (MCIP), and actively contributes to the ULI Toronto Programme Committee.
