Antonella Spano is the Vice President of Contracts & Estimating at The Daniels Corporation, where she oversees the complete procurement process for all Daniels communities—from early-stage budgeting and tendering to contract negotiation and finalization. A skilled leader and strategist, Antonella plays a vital role in aligning project budgets with construction realities, while fostering strong, lasting relationships with Daniels’ network of trade partners.
Antonella’s career at Daniels spans more than two decades. She began as a Site Clerk while completing her degree at the University of Toronto and has since grown through a variety of roles including Finishing Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Project Manager, Contracts Manager, and Director, culminating in her current executive position. Her extensive site experience gave her a deep understanding of the construction process and its intricacies, which continues to inform her work today. Her ability to bridge on-site knowledge with financial planning and risk management has been instrumental in shaping Daniels’ approach to contracts and estimating.
Antonella has contributed to many of Daniels’ landmark communities, including NY Towers, Kilgour Estates, the Regent Park revitalization, Mississauga City Centre, and Daniels Waterfront- City of the Arts.
Antonella holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and is known for her mentorship, team leadership, and her commitment to building systems that drive efficiency, reduce risk, and ensure the long-term success of Daniels’ projects.
