In the fall of 2017, all three levels of governments, hand in hand with Waterfront Toronto, celebrated the announcement that Sidewalk Labs had been chosen as that partner. Waterfront Toronto went to the market looking for a partner, and then selected one that is prepared to make an enormous investment in our collective future. In short, we got exactly what we asked for. Today, we need to figure out how to make the partnership work for all of us.
