A $600,000 donation from The Daniels Corporation will fund a multi-purpose learning space at George Brown College’s exciting new capital project Limberlost Place. The Waterfront Campus expansion project is currently under construction and is set to open in the summer of 2024.

The three-storey learning space in the new building will be named the Daniels Learning Landscape in honour of the gift. Limberlost Place will house the School of Architectural Studies and the School of Computer Technology, as well as a childcare space, an area dedicated to Truth and Reconciliation, and the Brookfield Sustainability Institute dedicated to solving problems posed by climate change.

The Daniels Corporation’s President and CEO Mitchell Cohen formally announced the donation at a cheque presentation ceremony at the Daphne Cockwell Centre for Health Sciences at Waterfront Campus on April 26.
