Daniels Gateway, the rental division of The Daniels Corporation, is actively searching for a highly motivated and organized Assistant Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a diverse high-rise and low-rise residential portfolio located across the GTA. This position requires a proactive, customer-focused professional who excels at balancing administrative, operational, and tenant-relations responsibilities. The Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the property in accordance with all company policies, procedures, and standards of excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt, professional, and courteous service to all residents, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve tenant inquiries, concerns, and disputes; escalate complex matters when appropriate.
  • Prepare and issue tenant communications, notices, and updates.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with
  • company standards.
  • Liaise with the Customer Care and Maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of repairs, maintenance, and renovation projects.
  • Coordinate move-in and move-out processes to ensure a seamless resident experience.
  • Participate in the rotating after-hours emergency on-call schedule.
  • Conduct comparative market analyses to maintain competitive rental rates and occupancy levels.
  • Support the preparation of budgets, reports, and operational plans as required.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in residential property management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of property administration, maintenance coordination, and customer service practices.
  • Exceptional organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Yardi or other property management software is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • A positive, professional demeanor with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; frequent travel within the GTA will be necessary.
