Don Pugh

As a Partner at The Daniels Corporation, Don Pugh is a driving force behind the company’s continued growth and success. With over 40 years of experience in the real estate and construction industry, he has played a pivotal role in expanding Daniels’ portfolio across residential, mixed-use, commercial, and retail development, all while upholding the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Don’s career began on the construction site, where he worked as a labourer before advancing to site supervisor. This hands-on experience provided him with a deep understanding of construction operations, laying the foundation for his leadership in the industry. Since joining Daniels in 1991, Don helped shape the company’s construction landscape, overseeing the low-rise construction division, leading the development and management of a 25-year rental division, and spearheading the creation of Daniels’ commercial portfolio. He also established Daniels’ longstanding relationship with Habitat for Humanity affiliates. His ability to anticipate challenges, solve problems decisively, and drive results has made him an essential leader within the organization.

As a Project Sponsor on notable Daniels communities, Don provides strategic oversight and partner relations, ensuring every community is built with precision and care. He plays a critical role in fostering and maintaining strong relationships with key partners such as BGO, Diamond Corp. and Kilmer Group, ensuring seamless collaboration. His deep expertise in labour relations, including managing construction unions, further strengthens Daniels’ ability to deliver successful projects.
